The Sports Medicine segment is unique and innovative, designed for high school students that have an interest in the sports and medical field. Basic principles of anatomy and physiology will be covered to give the student a base of knowledge to understand injuries and injury evaluation. Also included will be evaluation techniques, basic muscle testing, taping and field trips to various clinical settings if possible. Learning from these experiences the students will gain a better understanding of the sports and medical industry and how it will impact athletes in the new century. |
