… Practice will begin August 29th.
… Pool Location - Hauppauge High School
Townline Road and Lincoln Blvd., Hauppauge
… Practice Time: 5:00– 6:30 a.m.
All Swim Team members are responsible for their transportation to Hauppauge High School in the morning.
A shuttle bus will be provided to return swimmers to HSW and HSE, and will depart promptly at 6:45 a.m.
Practices will consist of morning pool practices and afternoon track practices at either HSW or HSE. A schedule will be provided.
Pool practice will be in the afternoon on days that Hauppauge has an away meet. A shuttle will provide transportation on those days to Hauppauge High School from HSW and HSE.
… Swim Meets:
All Swim Meets will be away.
You must wear a TEAM SWIMSUIT for Meets. The cost is approximately $50.00.
It is not determined if we will be wearing the same Team Suit from last year.
If Coaches decide to change the Team Suit this year, you will be given instructions on how and where to order it.
Championship Meets: League I Championships – Nov. 3 at Ward Melville High School.
State Qualifier/County Championship – Nov. 12 at Suffolk Community College
NY State Championships – Nov. 18-19 at Erie Community College, Buffalo

The Athletic Office will send the Coaches a list of names, of swimmers who have been cleared by the nurse.
You will not be permitted to swim if your name is not on the list.
Please come to our first practice, August 29th 2011 with a signed Code of Conduct/Permission Form.
ALL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED, AND YOU MUST RECEIVE CLEARANCE FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE BEFORE THE FIRST PRACTICE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE.
PLEASE HAND IN SPORT PHYSICALS TO THE HEALTH OFFICE BEFORE JUNE 17, 2011 IF POSSIBLE. IF YOU MISS THIS DATE, CHECK THE ATHLETIC DEPT. WEBSITE FOR ADDITIONAL DATES THE SCHOOL NURSE WILL ACCEPT PHYSICALS.
Remember… Academics come before Swimming…
But…You MUST be committed to the Smithtown Girls’ Varsity Swim Team before a Job or Club Team!
… and you MUST be committee to the Smithtown Girl’s Varsity Swim Team through the duration of the entire season.
